The seminars focus primarily on pirouette rotation, as pirouettes reveal the body’s true axis and are the most effective way to develop proper spinning.

When the pirouette rotation is solid, the same principles transfer directly to jumps.

In the seminar, you will learn to:

• Find and maintain a centered axis

• Initiate rotation at the right moment

• Improve the quality and speed of pirouettes

• Make jump rotations lighter and more controlled

• Exercises are applied directly to pirouettes

• Pirouettes create a direct transfer effect to jumps

• Progression from basic level to advanced spin variations and choreographic pirouettes

Who is the seminar for?

• Skaters who want to understand and develop rotation and coaches looking for clear and effective rotation principles

• The skater’s own coach is welcome to be on the ice to observe the instruction and further develop their own expertise. This way, the learning continues even after the seminar day!

The coaching is led by world-leading pirouette coach Kim Ryan Lewis, coming directly from Seattle. Kim is internationally recognized for her exceptional ability to develop pirouette speed, focus, and quality. Her expertise is top-level, and her coaching is inspiring, clear, and effective.
